Cash on Delivery (COD)
At Envia.com, we offer a Cash on Delivery (COD) service, a solution that allows our customers to collect a specific amount from the recipient of the shipment at the time of delivery. This method ensures that the recipient, the person receiving the package (the end customer of our users), pays in cash upon receiving their order.
How does it work?
- Service request: When generating the shipping label, you can enable the Cash on Delivery service.
- Payment collection from the recipient: Envia.com handles collecting the specified amount directly from the recipient at the time of delivery.
- Transfer to the customer: The collected amount is then transferred to your account on specific dates.
A commission will be applied for using this service. Additionally, if the recipient does not make the payment upon receiving the shipment, you, as a customer of Envia.com, will be responsible for covering that amount through our platform.
Steps to use COD in my shipments
- Access to our platform.
- Before generating your shipping label, select the additional service of Cash on Delivery and enter the amount to be collected from the recipient.
- Select the shipping option that best suits your needs.
- When the package has been delivered, visit Ecart Pay to request the withdrawal of the amount collected.

Considerations
- The recipient must pay in cash only. Bank transfers or card payments are not accepted.
- In case of delivery errors (e.g., if the package is marked as delivered but was not received by the recipient), a chargeback for the corresponding amount will be applied, subject to review. Learn more about chargebacks.
