When shipping to the United States, it is important to consider that some carriers apply additional U.S. charges depending on the characteristics of the package, the recipient's address or situations that require special intervention. These charges are generated for reasons such as deliveries in residential areas, address corrections, errors in dimensions or weight, among others.

UPS

Additional charge	Description
Service Charge	Base charge for use of UPS service, prorated according to the type of shipment.
Residential Adjustment	Applies when the destination is a suburban or residential area.
Shipping Correction	Correction for differences between actual package weights/measurements and those declared when generating the waybill.
Address Correction	Address correction for incomplete, incorrect or manually adjusted information.
Missing PLD	Charge for not including or presenting illegible collection label (PLD).
Pickup	Applies when you request a home pickup instead of delivering to an authorized point.

USPS

Additional charge	Description
Dimensional Charge	Adjustment for packages exceeding the allowed dimensions (over 22” or 30”), according to dimensional tariff.

DHL

Additional charge	Description
Non-Standard Pickup	Non-standard collection, such as at special locations or with additional requirements.
Non Stackable Pallet	Charge for packages that cannot be stacked due to their shape or physical characteristics.
Import Declaration	Charge for processing of import customs documentation.
Address Correction	Incomplete or incorrect address correction detected during delivery.

SENDLE

Additional charge	Description
Incorrect Size Declared	It is detected that the actual dimensions do not coincide with those declared when generating the guide.
Incorrect Package Type	The type of packaging declared (e.g. envelope or box) does not correspond to the actual package.

Skypostal

Additional charge	Description
Residential Surcharge	Charge for delivery in residential areas not originally contemplated in the quotation.
Residential Adjustment	Adjustment generated when recalculating delivery charges after detecting residential destination.
Shipping Correction	Correction applied if the actual measurements or weight of the shipment do not match what is declared.
Pickup	Applies when requesting pickup from a different address than usual.
Undeliverable Return	Charge for return of the package to origin when it was not accepted at the final destination.
Missing PLD	Chargeable if the collection label is missing or illegible.
Address Correction	Charge for manual address correction or update in order to complete delivery.
