Synchronize products
Syncing your products from your e-commerce store to Ecommerce Pro saves you time and prevents errors caused by manual uploads. You can choose which products to import (new, existing, both, or just one), in which stores to do so, and track progress product by product while the process runs in the background. This allows you to import or update the name, SKU, variants, and—depending on the integration—weight and dimensions.
Benefits
- You choose what to sync: new products, existing products, both, or a specific one.
- You can select one or more stores without having to blindly sync the entire catalog.
- See the progress in real time (pending, synchronized, or error) and you can keep working while it finishes.
Synchronization Options
From Ecommerce Pro > Products, the sync menu offers you four options:
| Option | What does it do? |
|---|---|
| Synchronize New Products | Import products that are already in your store but aren't yet on Envia. |
| Synchronize Existing Products | Update products you've imported before. |
| Synchronize new and existing products | Combine both: bring in new things and update what you already have. |
| Synchronize a specific product | Synchronize a single product using its ID in the store. |
ℹ️ The button Update Just reload the table. To import or update products from the store, use the synchronization menu.
Steps to synchronize products
- Log in to your Envia.com account.
- Go to Ecommerce Pro > Products.
- Open the sync menu and select an option: new, existing and new and existing.
- Select the stores you want to include. You can search by name or use Select All.
- If you are updating existing products (or both), please indicate whether you want to overwrite the package dimensions with the ones in the store.
- Confirm to start synchronization.
Depending on the number of products, the process may take a few minutes. Once it's finished, you'll see your products listed in the table along with their relevant information (name, SKU, dimensions, and variants).
ℹ️ If you've already selected products in the table and choose to sync existing (or new and existing), Envia can sync those products directly and skip the step of going through stores. To new products You always choose stores because those items don't appear in the table yet.
Synchronize a specific product
- In Ecommerce Pro > Products, opens the sync menu.
- Choose Synchronize a specific product.
- Select the store.
- Enter the product ID in the store.
- Indicate whether you want to overwrite the package dimensions.
- Click "Confirm" to begin.
Real-Time Progress
When you start the synchronization, a progress window opens. There, you'll see each product along with its store, name, SKU, and status:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending | It hasn't been processed yet. |
| Synchronized | It was either imported or updated. |
| Error | Synchronization failed; check the product or try again. |
You can minimize the window and continue working. The process continues in the background, and you can reopen the progress report from the Products header. When finished, the table updates automatically.
Override package dimensions
When synchronizing products existing, new and existing, or a specific one, you can choose whether Envia replaces the package dimensions with those provided by the store.
- Yes: The measurements in Envia are updated to match those in the store.
- No: The dimensions you already had in Envia are retained.
ℹ️ Use this option with caution if you've already manually adjusted the measurements in Envia. When you enable it, those values will be overwritten.
This option does not apply when you sync only new products, because the dimensions for those items haven't been saved in Envia yet.
