Split package
Table of contents
With Ecommerce Pro, you have the option to split your package into multiple shipments according to your needs. This strategy is especially useful for large orders or if the items in an order are in different warehouse locations.
By splitting your products into different shipments, efficient delivery is ensured and can result in cost savings. Keep in mind that in order to split it, your order must contain more than one item.
Steps to split my order
- Access to envia.com and go to Ecommerce Pro > View Orders
- Locate and select an order that contains more than one product by clicking on the order number.
- Scroll down in the order information and click on + Add package.
- Carry out the following settings:
Section | Steps | Example |
---|---|---|
Saved packages | 1. Choose the saved package that best suits the product you want to ship. 2. Click on the package dimensions and confirm that it has all the important data, such as name, content, dimensions, and weight. 3. When you complete the fields, click update. | If you have a saved package with dimensions 30x30x30 cm and weight of 2 kg, choose this if you want to ship a product that fits these characteristics. |
Products | Select the products and the quantity you want to split from the first package to send in a second package. | If you have an order of 10 shirts and 5 pants and you only want to send the shirts in the first package, select the shirts and specify the quantity of 10. |
- Locate and click on the button with the “>” sign to move the selected products to a second package.
- If you need to change the package dimensions or want to split your products into more packages, repeat the two previous settings (Saved packages; Products).
- Check that all the data of your order is correct and generate your guide.
