High Value Protection (UPS)

The High Value Protection is an additional coverage available exclusively for UPS shipments.

This service increases the parcel carrier's liability limit in case of loss or physical damage during transport.

ℹ️ It is not an insurance policy or a financial product. It is additional protection under UPS operating conditions.

Availability

• Only available for shipments with UPS.
• It is activated at the moment of generating your guide.
• Only one protection can be chosen per shipment. If High Value Protection is activated, Send Safe is automatically deactivated.

Maximum coverage limits

The amount to be indemnified shall be the lesser of:

• The declared value
• Invoiced value
• The cost of repair (if applicable)

Cost of service

The fee is calculated based on the declared value of the shipment.

• An additional charge is applied for each increase in the declared value.
• There is a minimum charge for shipping.
• The exact cost is shown during the quotation with UPS.

Requirements for protection to apply

• Correctly declare the value of the content.
• Keep the product and the original packaging in case of incident.
• Present invoice or proof of value.
• Comply with established packaging guidelines.

If these requirements are not met, the claim may be rejected.

 Basic packaging guidelines

Packaging compliance is mandatory.

• Use double box (an additional external box).
• New corrugated cardboard boxes.
• Sufficient cushioning material (bubble, foam, etc.).
• The box must be completely filled, with no empty spaces.
• Do not include markings or indications of contents on the outside.
