Confirmation by WhatsApp for payment on delivery (COD)
When you ship COD (cash on delivery), it is common for some orders to be cancelled upon delivery. To help you avoid these situations, Envia.com allows you to activate an automatic notification via WhatsApp, so that your customer confirms if he wants to receive the order and knows how much he has to pay before the delivery driver arrives.
How does it work?
- You create a shipment with cash on delivery service.
- Envia.com automatically sends a WhatsApp message to your customer.
- The message includes:
- Amount payable
- Order information
- Button for confirm delivery
- Once the customer confirms, you can view the status from the section My Shipments
Steps to activate the notification
Log in to your Envia.com account.
Go to Buyer Experience > Notifications.
3. Activate the WhatsApp notifications for Cash on Delivery.
4. Click on Activate
Order confirmation
You can monitor the confirmation status of each shipment from the section My shipments. There you will see if the customer has already accepted to receive the order.
Activate shipment tracking notifications
If you want your customer to also receive updates on the status of the order (such as "created" or "on the way"), you can activate general notifications via WhatsApp from the same section.
