Additional charges US

When you make shipments to the United States, it is important to consider that some carriers apply additional US charges depending on the package characteristics, the recipient address, or situations that require special intervention. These charges are generated for reasons such as deliveries in residential zones, address corrections, errors in dimensions or weight, among others.

UPS

Additional charge	Description
Service Charge	Base charge for using the UPS service, prorated according to the shipment type.
Residential Adjustment	Applied when the destination is a suburban or residential zone.
Shipping Correction	Correction for differences between the package’s actual measurements/weight and those declared when generating the label.
Address Correction	Address correction due to incomplete, incorrect, or manually adjusted information.
Missing PLD	Charge for not including the pickup label (PLD) or presenting it as unreadable.
Pickup	Applied when you request a home pickup instead of dropping off at an authorized location.

USPS

Additional charge	Description
Dimensional Charge	Adjustment for packages that exceed the allowed dimensions (more than 22” or 30”), according to the dimensional rate.

DHL

Additional charge	Description
Non-Standard Pickup	Pickup outside the standard, such as at special locations or with additional requirements.
Non Stackable Pallet	Charge for packages that cannot be stacked due to their shape or physical characteristics.
Import Declaration	Charge for processing import customs documentation.
Address Correction	Correction of an incomplete or incorrect address detected during delivery.

SENDLE

Additional charge	Description
Incorrect Size Declared	It is detected that the actual dimensions do not match those declared when generating the label.
Incorrect Package Type	The declared package type (for example, envelope or box) does not match the actual package.

Skypostal

Additional charge	Description
Residential Surcharge	Charge for delivery in residential zones not originally included in the quote.
Residential Adjustment	Adjustment generated when recalculating delivery charges after detecting a residential destination.
Shipping Correction	Correction applied if the actual measurements or weight of the shipment do not match what was declared.
Pickup	Applied when requesting pickup from an address different from the usual one.
Undeliverable Return	Charge for returning the package to origin when it was not accepted at the final destination.
Missing PLD	Charged if the pickup label is missing or unreadable.
Address Correction	Charge for manual address correction or update in order to complete delivery.
