Labels for fragile goods

When you ship fragile items, label the packages clearly so they are handled with the care they need. These are the most important labels to consider:

Fragile

Place this label on the outside of the package to alert staff that the contents are fragile.

Keep dry

Indicates that the package must not get wet. This is essential to protect the contents from moisture and water.

This side up

Shows which side is the top of the package. It helps the package be transported and stored correctly.

Maximum weight

Helps prevent overloading and keeps transport safe.

Do not stack

Indicates that other packages should not be placed on top. Prevents damage to the contents.
