Quote a shipment

Want to compare prices from different carriers before you generate your label? The envia.com quoter lets you check rates from multiple providers instantly, with estimated delivery times and special business prices, all from a side panel without leaving the platform.

How do I open the quoter?

The quoter opens as a sliding side panel. You can access it from:

• The calculator icon in the top navigation bar
• The sidebar, select Quote > Quote

Important

The quoter is not available for users with the Support role.

Steps to quote a shipment

1. Open the quoter from the calculator icon or the sidebar.

2. In the Origin field, search for and select the package’s outgoing address.

3. In the Destination field, search for and select the delivery address.

   Note

   If you have favorite addresses configured in your account, the origin and destination fields are prefilled automatically. You can change them by clicking the edit icon ( ✏️ ) or clear them with the ( ✕ ) icon.

4. Enter the package dimensions and weight:

   • Length, width, and height (in cm)
   • Weight (in kg)

5. Click Quote.

6. Available rates will appear in the right panel as the different providers are queried. Review the options and select the one that works best for you.

7. When you select a carrier, you will be taken to the label generation flow to confirm the data and complete the shipment.

   Note

   If the origin or destination address has incomplete data (name, street, or number), the platform will ask you to complete them before continuing with generation.

Quote history

In the same panel you can view your recent quotes in the history tab. You can also access the full history from Quote > Quote history.

Don’t have an account?

You can quote without registering using the public envia.com quoter. You only need the package data to see your options. However, creating an account lets you save shipments, access special prices, and generate labels directly.

Recommendations

• Use favorite addresses to save time on frequent quotes. You can configure them in Settings > Addresses.
• Use exact package measurements to avoid differences between the estimated cost and the actual cost.

Frequently asked questions

Is the quoted price what is charged when the label is generated? The quoted price is an estimate based on the package data. The final cost may vary if differences in weight or dimensions are detected at shipping time.

Can I save a quote to use later? Yes. Recent quotes are saved automatically in the panel history and in the Quote > History section.

Why don’t I see the quoter in my account? The quoter is not available for the Support role. If you need to quote, ask your administrator to adjust your role.
