Order detail view in Ecommerce

You can now open any ecommerce order in a full-screen detail view. You get more space, you can share the order’s direct link with your team, and you can move from one order to another without returning to the table each time.

The side panel is still available. The detail view is an additional way to manage the same order.

From the order detail you can:

  • See the full order information (store, number, value, shipping method, and status)
  • Edit addresses and packages when the order allows it
  • Quote and generate labels
  • Go to the previous or next order
  • Search for another order by name
  • Filter navigation by store (if you have more than one)
  • Share the order link with your team
  • Switch between origins when the order has more than one shipping location

This view is especially useful if you work with multi-origin orders, if you need to share an exact order with someone on your team, or if you prefer to move between orders without going back to the table.

At the top of the detail view you will find tools to move between orders without returning to the table:

Store filter Limit navigation and search to a specific store (only appears if you have more than one)

Store filter with a list of connected stores

If you have more than one connected store, use the selector (default All) to limit navigation and search to a specific store.

Next order button with Next order tooltip

Use the arrows to move forward or backward between orders. If there is no previous or next order, the corresponding arrow will appear disabled.

Next and Previous buttons in the order detail

  1. Open the order detail view.

  2. Click the share button (share icon) at the top.

  3. The URL is copied automatically to the clipboard.

  4. Paste it where you need it (chat, email, internal ticket, and so on).

Option to share the order detail

Anyone in your account with access to Ecommerce will be able to open that same order using the link. It is useful for follow-up, reviewing an incident, or continuing a fulfillment process started by someone else.

Some orders ship from more than one origin location. In those cases, the detail view shows tabs for each origin.

  • Each tab indicates the location name and how many packages belong to it.
  • When you select a tab, you only see the packages for that origin.
  • If the order has a single origin, the tabs do not appear and all packages are shown as usual.

This helps you quote and generate labels by location without mixing information from different warehouses or branches.

The quote and label generation flow is the same one you already know from the side panel:

  1. Review or adjust addresses and packages.
  2. Quote the available shipping options.
  3. Select the carrier and generate the label.
  4. The order updates with the new status when the process is complete.

You can use the detail view as your main workspace when you need more screen space or to review several orders in a row.

Can I open an order regardless of its status? Yes. The detail view works for any order in your account. What changes by status are the available actions (quote, generate label, and so on), just as in the side panel.

Does the detail view replace the Ecommerce side panel? No. Both options coexist. You can keep opening orders from the table in the side panel, or use the detail view when you need more space or to share the link.

Can I edit an order from this view? You can perform the same operational actions as in the side panel: adjust addresses and packages, quote, and generate labels, depending on what the order status allows. It does not change how orders are managed, only the workspace.

Is the shared link public? No. It only works for users in your account with access to Ecommerce. It is not intended to be sent to the end buyer.

What happens if I filter by store? Navigation between orders (previous/next) and search are limited to the orders of that store. If you choose All, you can move between orders from any of your connected stores.
