When you make shipments within Mexico, it is important to consider that some carriers apply additional charges depending on the characteristics of the package or the destination. These charges can be generated for reasons such as deliveries in remote zones, address corrections, excess weight or dimensions, among others.
An additional charge is an extra fee added to the base shipping price when special conditions involve more effort, risk, or logistics for the carrier.

Charge for packages that exceed the maximum weight limits (more than 70 kg) or size (more than 274 cm in length or 400 cm in girth). These packages are not accepted for standard transport. |

• Any package that uses stretch wrap on the outside of the box. • Any item packed in an outer shipping container made of metal or wood. • Any cylindrical item such as a barrel, pail, bucket, or tire that is not fully packed in a corrugated cardboard container. • Any package whose longest side exceeds 122 cm, or where the second-longest side exceeds 76 cm. • Any package whose actual weight exceeds 25 kg. • Each package, within a multi-package shipment, where the average weight per package exceeds 25 kg and the weight of each package is not specified in the shipping documents or in the UPS shipping system used. • The Additional Handling charge will not be billed when any of the Maximum Limits Exceeded charges has been applied. • UPS reserves the right to apply the Additional Handling charge to any package that, at UPS’s discretion, requires additional handling. |
