Archive and restore orders in Ecommerce Pro

Archiving an order removes it from your order list and from Ecommerce Pro analytics. This helps you focus on the orders you actually need to process. Archiving does not cancel the order in your store and does not change its status, fulfillment, or label. You can restore it anytime.

Element What happens
Order in your store Not canceled or changed. Its status and fulfillment stay the same.
Label and shipment No changes. You still see them in My shipments.
List and analytics The order leaves the All tab and the metrics panel.
Changes from your store If your store updates the order later, the order stays archived.

You have three ways to archive:

From How to do it
Row menu Open the order options menu and choose Archive.
Bulk actions Select multiple orders, open the bulk actions menu (…) and choose Archive. Works on desktop and mobile.
Order detail In the header, next to Mark as delivered, click Archive.

To archive multiple orders at once:

  1. Log in to your Envia.com account.
  2. Go to Ecommerce Pro > View orders.
  3. Select the orders you want to archive.
  4. Open the bulk actions menu (…) and choose Archive.
  5. In the Archive orders window, write a reason if needed.
  6. Click Archive to confirm.

The Reason (optional) field helps you remember why you archived an order.

  • Accepts up to 500 characters.
  • The same reason applies to all orders you archive in that action.
  • You cannot edit it later.

Above the order table you will see two tabs: All and Archived. The Archived tab shows how many orders you have archived.

In Archived you will find:

  • The Archived by column, with the name of who archived the order and the date.
  • The reason, when hovering over the Archived by column.
  • The Restore button instead of quote options.

Restoring returns the order to the All tab and the metrics panel.

From How to do it
Order row In Archived, click Restore or choose Restore from the order options menu.
Bulk actions In Archived, select orders, open the bulk actions menu (…) and choose Restore.
Order detail In the header, click Restore.

In the Restore orders window, click Restore to confirm. When restoring, you do not need to write a reason.

Section What happens with an archived order
Search in View orders and detail Does not appear in results.
Previous and next arrows in detail The order is skipped.
Metrics panel Not counted.
Direct link to the order Opens the detail and you can restore it.
Scan & Go You will see an archived order notice and hear the error sound. You cannot quote or generate the label.
Message What it means What to do
Order archived The order was archived. Nothing. You find it in Archived.
Order restored The order returned to the list. Nothing. You find it in All.
Order not found The order no longer exists or does not belong to your account. Refresh the page and check the order.
The order was already in that state The order was already archived or already restored. Check the All or Archived tab.
Could not update the order An error occurred and the change was not saved. Try again in a few minutes.

When you archive or restore multiple orders, those that are processed change tabs. Those with an error message stay selected so you can review them.
