Keeping your product information up to date is essential to calculate accurate shipping rates and avoid delays. With the Ecommerce Pro bulk editor you can modify several products at once, including dimensions, weight, and key details, saving time and ensuring correct data.

Update product dimensions

Keeping your product dimensions up to date is important so the correct dimensions can be assigned automatically to your packages.

1. Go to Ecommerce Pro > Products.
2. Click the dimensions column of the products you want to update.
3. Edit the information as applicable:
   • Products without variants: Edit each product individually.
   • Products with variants: You will see a Multiple dimensions message, because variants can have different sizes. When you select it, an individual form will appear where you can add or modify the dimensions of all variants.

1. Go to Ecommerce Pro > Products.

2. Select the products you want to modify (you can use the filters to search by name, store, or type).

3. Click the three-dot icon next to the Modify button.

4. Adjust the necessary information:

   • Dimensions. Add the dimensions (length, width, height, weight) of the products.
   • Product code (Individual). Harmonized codes are worldwide standard names and numbers for classifying traded products.
   • Made in (Individual). Indicates the country of origin of your product to determine its provenance.
   • Details (Individual).
     • Requires shipping
     • Fragile product: An item that can be damaged or broken easily if it is not handled with care.
     • Refrigerated shipping: Transport of goods in a temperature-controlled environment.
     • Hazardous material: Substances or materials that can pose a risk to health, safety, property, or the environment during handling, storage, transport, or use.

5. Once you make the modifications, save the changes.

   Note

   If you work with variants, you will need to edit them individually, because they can have different dimensions.

Do product data updates in Ecommerce Pro appear in my store?

The data you enter in Ecommerce Pro is used exclusively to optimize shipments, and the dimensions you set may not match those you have in your store.

If I update my product dimensions in my store, will they update automatically in Ecommerce Pro?

Product updates in your store do not sync automatically with envia.com. To ensure shipping is accurate, you must update the dimensions manually in Ecommerce Pro if there are no previous records.

Can I modify several products at once in Ecommerce Pro?

Yes. You can use the bulk editor to change the information of several products at the same time. Just select the products, make the modifications, and save the changes.

How is the shipping rate for my products calculated?

Shipping rates are calculated based on the dimensions, weight, and destination of the package. Keeping this information up to date is key to avoiding rate errors.
