Custom carrier key

Custom keys let you use the rates you negotiated directly with a carrier when you generate shipments from Envia.com. When you configure them, the carrier recognizes you automatically and applies your agreed prices.

Note

The cost to generate a label using custom keys is $2 MXN.

Why use custom keys?

• You keep your preferred rates when you use Envia.com
• You automate quoting and label generation with established prices.
• You centralize shipment management without losing the benefits of your agreements.

Important

Each carrier uses different key formats, so it is important to enter the correct information to avoid errors when generating labels.

Add a custom key

1. Sign in to your Envia.com account

2. Go to Settings > Print format and carriers

3. Find the carrier you have an agreement with and click Add custom key.

4. A modal will open with the fields required by that carrier.

5. Enter the data your carrier provided.

6. Click Save.

   Note

   Confirm with your carrier that the data is current before you enter it. This will prevent rejections or errors when creating shipments.

   Note

   Before you enter your credentials, a notice with specific instructions for that carrier may appear. Read the message before you continue.

Steps to change or update keys

1. Go to Settings > Print format and carriers

2. Find the carrier with the keys you want to update.

3. Click the three-dot menu ( ⋮ ) next to the custom key button.

4. Select Delete custom key and confirm the action.

5. Once it is deleted, click Add custom key and enter the new data.

   Note

   Update your keys if there was a change in your agreement, you made a mistake, or the carrier asked you to do so.

You must certify and run tests before enabling the keys to create shipments in production. If your keys are not ready, errors may occur when you create a shipment.
