- Some carrier integrations may behave differently or not be available in tests.
- Sandbox data (addresses, packages, history) is independent and is not synced with your production account.

Frequently asked questions
Section titled “Frequently asked questions”Can I use my production account to run tests? It is not recommended. Labels generated in production are real and generate charges. Always use the sandbox for testing and development.
Is the balance I have in production available in the sandbox? No. Balance, addresses, packages, and history are completely independent between both environments.
Do I need to verify my account in the sandbox? No. In the test environment you can operate without going through the identity verification process that applies in production.
Are the carriers available in sandbox the same as in production? For the most part yes, although some carriers may have limited availability or different behavior in the test environment.
Can I have access to the sandbox and production at the same time? Yes. They are independent accounts and you can have an active session in both from different browsers or tabs.
Is using the test environment mandatory? No, but we recommend it to reduce errors before operating in production, especially if you are going to connect an ecommerce store or integrate the API.
