Billing information
Billing information is your company’s tax and billing details. On Home, after verification, shipping asks you for them. The step is optional: you can skip it and continue. To generate the first label you usually do need balance (the company’s amount to pay for shipments) or a payment. Quoting (seeing prices) can often be done without that.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- Account created. Verification is usually required before you top up balance.
- If your role does not show billing, ask the account administrator for access.
Complete the information
Section titled “Complete the information”- Go to shipping.envia.com and open Home.
- In the welcome steps, open the billing one (it is marked as optional).
- Complete the details the form asks for and save.
- If you do not have them yet, you can skip the step. The Home box marks it as done when you skip it.
You can also update that information later from My company, in the billing section, if your role shows it.
Balance for the first label
Section titled “Balance for the first label”- Open Invoices or the top-up option you see in the menu.
- Top up balance or pay for the shipment when you generate the label.
Without balance or payment, the quote can go through and the label cannot.
Frequently asked questions
Section titled “Frequently asked questions”Does skipping billing prevent me from shipping? Not by itself. You will still need balance or a payment when you generate the label, and later an invoice with incomplete details.
Is it the same as verification? No. Verification confirms who you are (KYC) or which company operates (KYB). Billing is the tax and collection details.
I do not see Invoices or top up. It may be the role or the country. Ask the administrator for access or go to Contact.
